Mission & Vision Statement

MISSION STATEMENT

WE ARE DEDICATED to the reverential care of the bodies of those who have died, and in death have been remanded to our care for interment in a sacred and safe resting place.  WE ARE COMMITTED to the care of the graves of those who have been entrusted to us and as such WE ACKNOWLEDGE our role as custodians of a historical landmark and its records.

VISION STATEMENT

The Washington Hollow Cemetery Association serves three separate but equally important groups: those buried or entombed in our Cemetery, their surviving loved ones and our local community.

The buried in our Cemetery are entitled to respectful burial and resting place in a reverent, peaceful and beautiful environment that is well cared for and maintained.  The surviving loved ones of those buried in our Cemetery are invited to visit and enjoy the rural surroundings of our landscape while honoring their loved ones.  As part of the local community we understand the strong connections between the Cemetery, our local community leaders, local historic groups, the spiritual organizations that encourage their members to select the Cemetery as their resting place, and the local citizens who recognize the cemetery for its important contributions to the local community. We also recognize the special relationship of community members who have who have purchased spaces for future use.

The Washington Hollow Cemetery Association Rules & Regulations and By-Laws have been drafted and enforced to ensure that the needs of all three groups are met in the most respectful way possible.
